A man shown dozing off during ESPN’s coverage of an April MLB game between the Yankees and Red Sox is suing the Disney-owned channel and its two announcers of the game, Dan Shulman and John Kruk. TheSmokingGun.com, which first reported on the lawsuit, said that the man, Andrew Rector, 26, is claiming that he was subjected to an "unending verbal crusade against the napping plaintiff" by the two announcers as the sports network caught him slumped in his seat in the second row. Shulman referred to Rector as "oblivious" while Kruk commented that the ballpark was "not the place you come to sleep." The lawsuit further claims that the announcers called him, among other things, "fatty, unintelligent, and stupid." However, Mediaite.com contended that "the announcers never used any of those words."
