GLENN BECK RETURNING TO CABLE TV?

Time Warner-owned CNN has held talks with representatives of Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze.com about a potential joint venture that would essentially replace HLN, the struggling news channel once called Headline News, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The sources say that the two sides could not agree on terms. Among the options discussed, the Journal said, was replacing HLN’s programming with The Blaze. Beck himself once hosted a program on Headline News, and TheBlaze.com is already available via 70 small cable operators and the Dish Network.
