Former Fox News host Glenn Beck has expressed apprehension that the political anger that fuels many political blogs may eventually spill over into violence. Appearing on CNN’s Reliable Sources on Sunday, Beck said, "I think we’re a country in civil war. I just think we’re in a cold civil war. Shooting hasn’t started, but somebody stupid is going to do something stupid and it will escalate unless we talk to each other." Beck says he sees the same sort of anger on every side. "They’re all the same, left and right. We’re calling each other horrible things." Beck admitted that he had contributed to the rancor with his own rhetoric. He said it was "unfortunate" that some of the "stupid" remarks that he made was all he was "known for among some people who’ve never watched your show." When Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter asked Beck whether his comment that President Obama had a "deep-seated hatred for white people" one of his "stupid" remarks, Beck conceded, "Of course it was. But we all live and learn."
