An English computer programmer who camcorded Fast & Furious on the day it premiered and later uploaded it via BitTorrent, has been sentenced to 33 months in prison, SkyNews reported today (Friday). Universal Pictures had used its "webwatch" team to track down the programmer, 25-year-old Philip Danks of Walsall, West Midlands, after discovering that his online moniker, Thecod3r, was the same one that he used on a dating website. Universal estimated that Danks’s video was downloaded 779,000 times and had cost it $3.8 million in lost ticket sales.
