Netflix, which previously announced that it plans to present a stand-up comedy performance by Chelsea Handler on Oct. 10, said on Thursday that it plans to stream four other stand-up comedy shows before the end of the year. They’ll feature Bill Cosby, Bill Burr, Chelsea Peretti, and Jim Jeffries. It will be Netflix’s latest foray into original programming, following its success with House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black. The Cosby special, "Bill Cosby 77," was taped at the San Francisco Jazz Center on Cosby’s 77th birthday in July. Netflix plans to stream it beginning at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time on Friday, November 28. Burr’s special was taped in Atlanta and will be available on Dec. 5. Peretti’s show was recorded at the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts and will street on November 14. Jeffries’ was recorded at the Wilbur Theater in Boston and is scheduled to be carried by Netflix on Aug. 29.
