LAW ENFORCEMENT SOURCE SAYS HE SENT RICE VIDEO TO NFL SECURITY CHIEF

A law enforcement source has told the Hollywood Reporter that he sent a copy of the Ray Rice video, showing the Baltimore Ravens running back punching out his then-fiancée, to the NFL’s security chief, Jeffrey Miller, last April. The report raises new questions about claims by the NFL that no one in authority was aware of the video until it was released by TMZ earlier on September 6. The source said that he attached a message to Miller saying, "Ray Rice elevator video. You have to see it. It’s terrible." Miller later released a statement through the NFL saying "unequivocally" that he never received the video. The same official told the Associated Press two weeks ago about sending the video to the NFL but asked AP not to disclose that he had addressed the package to Miller.
