The Warner Bros./New Line horror film Annabelle may have fallen out of the domestic box office top-ten for the first time in four weeks (it placed 11th with $3.3 million) this weekend, but it was No. 1 overseas, where it pushed the four-week total to $126.7 million. That kicked it over the $200-million mark to $206.2 million worldwide. In Mexico, its $11.7-million gross was the best ever for a horror film in that country. In India, the No. 1 film was Happy New Year, starring Shah Rukh Khan, which opened with $17.8 million and set a box office record in that country. Placing second overseas was Universal’s Lucy with $19 million, virtually all of it coming from China. Third Place went to David Fincher’s Gone Girl with $18.4 million, followed by another horror film, Dracula Untold, with $14.7 million. The Brad Pitt World War II movie Fury rounded out the top five with $11.2 million.
