RATINGS REMAIN LOW FOR WORLD SERIES GAME 2

October 23, 2014 by · Leave a Comment

The number of viewers who tuned in to Fox’s coverage of the second game of the World Series on Wednesday was virtually identical to the number who tuned in on opening day on Tuesday. The difference was that the audience on Tuesday trailed off as the game progressed. On Wednesday, the audience increased. At 8:00 p.m. 10.88 million total adult viewers tuned in to the game between the San Francisco Giants and the Kansas City Royals. But by 10:00 p.m. that number had increased to 12.08 million. Although still unimpressive, they nevertheless dominated Wednesday night’s ratings, particularly among total adults. However, among 18-49 year-olds, ABC’s Modern Family, followed by black-ish in the 9:00 p.m. hour, drew higher ratings.
