Shock waves touched off by a sex scandal involving actor Stephen Collins rolled out over Hollywood on Tuesday. Entertainment Weekly reported that Collins had been dropped from Ted 2, which is currently shooting. There was no word on whether the actor, who reportedly admitted in a recording posted online by TMZ to molesting underage girls, had already shot scenes for it. Up TV, a channel that relies heavily on faith-based, family programs, announced that it was dropping reruns of 7th Heaven in which Collins played a pastor and the father of seven children. The channel airs 21 hours of 7th Heaven weekly. The New York Times reported that the NYPD is investigating a formal complaint filed by one of the alleged victims against Collins. TheWrap.com published details of Collins’s former wife, Faye Grant, divorce complaint in which she accused her former husband of using "his celebrity status to engender the trust of the families of the children he molested."
