SHEEN WANTS TO RETURN TO TWO AND A HALF MEN

Apparently, Charlie Sheen is ready to do whatever is necessary to return to Two and a Half Men for the show’s final season, which began airing Thursday night. "They know that I want to do it, and I know that they’re open to it," he told the syndicated entertainment show Extra on Thursday. "So I guess we’re just a meeting away from making it happen." He added: "I just think I owe it some measure of closure. I owe it to the fans, I owe it myself. I owe it to Chuck [Lorre], Jon [Cryer]. Yeah, I just think it makes sense." Sheen did not mention Ashton Kutcher, who took over his role on the series. Appearing on Conan Kutcher remarked that he had "stopped listening to what Charlie Sheen said," adding, "I’ve got an awesome job and it’s thanks to you [Sheen] not having it anymore. I’m just gonna keep going to work and collecting the check. So whatever."
