Part 1 of Fox News Channel’s The Man Who Killed Osama Bin Laden, hosted by Peter Doocy and featuring Robert O’Neill, the Navy SEAL who claims to have shot and killed Bin Laden, drew far more viewers than CNN, MSNBC and HLN combined Tuesday night. With 2,697,000 total viewers, it topped MSNBC with 561,000, CNN with 513,000 and HLN with 398,000. It also dominated among the key 25-45 age group with 532,000 viewers, compared to HLN’s 164,000, CNN’s 144,000, and MSNBC’s 98,000. Meanwhile, the show has drawn criticism from Jonathan Gilliam, a former Navy SEAL, who appeared the following night on FNC, saying that O’Neill "needs to be prosecuted and dishonorably discharged" for divulging classified information about the raid.
