YET ANOTHER STAR RUMORED TO PLAY STEVE JOBS

Just a day after Christian Bale scotched rumors that he would play Steve Jobs in an upcoming Sony Pictures biopic — saying that he felt he "was not right" for the part — new rumors hit online entertainment sites on Tuesday saying that the role had been offered to Michael Fassbender (who does indeed bear a strong resemblance to Jobs). The original report about the offer to Fassbender, who was nominating for a supporting actor Oscar for his performance in 12 Years a Slave, appeared in Variety, which cited unnamed inside sources. Other sites said later that they had confirmed the Variety report, also citing unnamed sources. The Hollywood Reporter ‘s story added that British director Danny Boyle is scheduled to arrive in Hollywood this week to meet with actors and actresses who might appear in the movie.
