HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY STAYS ATOP BOX OFFICE FOR THIRD WEEK

Without a new release by a major studio and with shopping rather than movies the principal recreational activity for many over the weekend, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 stayed on top of the box office for a third week with only an estimated $21.6 million in ticket sales. Penguins of Madagascar took second place again with just $11.1 million.
