SONY’S AMY PASCAL STEPS DOWN AFTER HACKER LEAKS

Amy Pascal has resigned as co-chairman of Sony Pictures following the recent release of internal emails in which she made racial jokes about President Obama. The studio said that she will remain as a producer at the studio, and Pascal said in a statement that she had always wanted to be a producer and that she is “energized to be starting this new chapter based at the company I call home.”
