CORRECTION: “AVATAR’S” BLU-RAY SALES

CORRECTION:
In Monday’s edition of Studio Briefing, we reported that Avatar had broken the record for Blu-ray sales in just four days. The item cited a 20th Century Fox release that indicated that Avatar had sold 2.7 million copies, putting it ahead of The Dark Knight, which, it said, had total sales of 2.5 million over 16 months. On Monday, afternoon, however, Warner Bros. disputed the figure for Dark Knight, saying that its total is actually 2.9 million.
