GLENN BECK: THE $32-MILLION MAN

Glenn Beck is the latest talk show host to pocket millions of dollars annually by rallying his conservative followers and riling his liberal critics. Forbes magazine reported Wednesday that Beck earned $32 million in the 12 months ending March 1 from his Fox News TV show, his syndicated radio show, public appearances, books, website, etc. In an interview with the magazine, Beck claims that he has no interest in “the political process.” He calls his company, Mercury Radio Arts, which manages his affairs, “an entertainment company.” Surprisingly, while he is best known for his Fox News program, it represents a relatively small part of his annual income, according to Forbes. His principal income — $13 million — comes from books and magazine publishing. His radio show nets him $10 million. He earns $4 million from his website — the same that he earns from Fox News. Paid appearances bring him $3 million.
