3D FUELS RISE IN TICKET PRICES

Moviegoers paid an average of $7.95 per ticket in the first quarter of 2010, up 8 percent from $7.35 during the same quarter a year ago, the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) said Tuesday. The figure represents the largest increase since the exhibitors group began tracking ticket prices in 2001.
