LYNN REDGRAVE DIES AT 67

Actress Lynn Redgrave, a member of the famed Redgrave acting dynasty, has died in New York at age 67. The cause of death was not disclosed, but Redgrave was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003. She was twice nominated for an Oscar, in 1966 for Georgy Girl and in 1998 for Gods and Monsters. Her brother Corin died last month of prostate cancer; her niece Natasha Richardson died in a skiing accident a year ago. She is survived by her older sister, Vanessa Redgrave. The Redgrave family has worked in theater, films, and television since the 19th century. Her father, Sir Michael Redgrave, died of Parkinson’s disease in 1985.
