Iron Man 2 appeared to have feet of tin Monday after final figures came in revealing that the movie earned even less than estimated — $1 million less. According to final Warner Bros. figures, the movie collected $52 million as it dived 59 percent from its opening-week total. Universal’s Robin Hood turned out to be not much of a challenger as it opened with $36.1 million, a figure regarded as a letdown but offset by foreign totals coming in at $111.1 million. Two counter-programming movies targeting women followed, with lackluster results. Letters to Juliet opened with $13.5 million and Just Wright made its debut with $8.3 million. Overall, the box office was virtually flat with the comparable weekend a year ago.
