While European men gathered in front of TV sets to watch the World Cup soccer games, women crowded into theaters to see Warner Bros./New Line’s Sex and the City 2, which raked in $23.7 million in its second week overseas, bringing its gross to $131.7 million. By contrast, The A-Team debuted in 35 countries with a dismal $15 million. Holding on to second place in its fourth week was Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, which took in $19.7 million.
