The NBA Finals may not have continued to dominate the ratings Tuesday night, if overnight ratings hold up. While Game 3 between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics averaged 11.53 million viewers according to the Nielsen overnight figures, the number was down 19 percent from the 14.20 million who tuned in to Game 3 of the Lakers-Magic game a year ago. (However, the latest figure is preliminary and may not include the Lakers’ hometown and other West Coast markets.) According to the Nielsen overnights, the Wednesday winner was NBC’s America’s Got Talent, which attracted 13.01 million viewers at 9:00 p.m. Also impressive was the rating for Fox’s Glee, whose season finale captured 10.92 million viewers — without the coattails of American Idol to hang onto. CBS aired a full schedule of repeats. That did not stop its leading drama, NCIS, from drawing 11.10 million viewers or its spinoff, NCIS: Los Angeles, which followed, from drawing 9.48 million.
