CBS SUFFERS RARE MONDAY-NIGHT LOSS TO ABC

ABC’s The Bachelorette mowed down the competition, including the usual Monday-night winner CBS, as it averaged 9.09 million viewers, peaking in the 9:30 p.m. half-hour with 10.12 million. But True Beauty, which followed, lost half that audience and came in second behind CBS’s CSI: Miami at 10:00 p.m. Airing a full slate of repeats, CBS finished the night in second place with an average of 6.93 million viewers. NBC and Fox were also-rans, with NBC averaging just 3.89 million viewers in primetime and Fox, 3.06 million.
