ODDS ARE ON MORGAN TO REPLACE KING

Despite repeated denials by CNN that it is in talks with America’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan to replace Larry King, Morgan remains the clear favorite among online bookmakers. As of this morning (Monday), Morgan was a 6 to 5 odds favorite to replace King on Bodog.com, a website that sometimes takes bets on celebrities along with its bets on sports (although it says that betting on King’s replacement is “closed for betting”). Katie Couric, who has indicated that she has no interest in replacing King, is No. 2 on the list of favorites with 3-to-1 odds. Ryan Seacrest, whom King favors as his replacement, comes in third with 7-to-2 odds. Joy Behar is a distant fourth at 9-to-2 odds, while Anderson Cooper, whose own ratings have plummeted in recent months, rounds out the top five at 15-to-2 odds.
