REALITY SHOWS RULE ON WEDNESDAY

July 22, 2010 by · Leave a Comment

NBC’s America’s Got Talent once again dominated the Wednesday-night ratings — and probably the ratings for the week — as its result show averaged 9.8 million viewers, peaking in the second half-hour with 10.3 million. Reality shows produced nearly all of the top ratings Wednesday, with CBS’s Big Brother continuing to draw big numbers, despite the fact that it now airs three times a week. Wednesday’s telecast averaged 6.5 million viewers. Fox also produced some solid numbers with a two-hour edition of So You Think You Can Dance, which averaged 5.7 million viewers.
