Eighty-seven-year-old Stan Lee, who created or co-created some of Marvel’s most memorable — and lucrative — superheroes, has unveiled three new ones that his Pow Entertainment is developing with Boom Studios. The Traveler, Starborn and Soldier Zero are the creations of others, Lee said at a news conference at San Diego’s ComicCon convention. His role, he told reporters, is that of “an overall editor or buttinski.” He added, “They create the books, but then they bring them to me: ‘What do you think of this idea? How do you like this? Let’s talk about the art,'” he said. “So I felt as though I was back in the bullpen again like I used to be at Marvel. And I’ve never had a better time. And I’m in at the creation of these stories, and I marvel at their imagination and their sense of drama.”
