UNSPECTACULAR RATINGS ON THE FOURTH

Except for a couple of Fourth of July specials, everything else on primetime TV Sunday night was a repeat and drew minuscule ratings. (Fox’s Sons of Tucson attracted just 1.12 million viewers). However, NBC’s coverage of the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular averaged 7.11 million viewers at 9:00 p.m. and CBS’s Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular averaged 6.69 million viewers at 10:00 p.m.
