TOY STORY 3 DISCS ALREADY AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER

Disney has already begun promoting its November home-video release of Toy Story 3 even as the movie continues to generate millions of dollars in ticket sales at theaters, Home Media magazine reported on its website Tuesday. It is already the No. 1 pre-order at Amazon.com, which has developed its own virtual store to promote the video packages (along with various merchandise, including toys, apparel, and household items) which include a DVD/Blu-ray/Digital combo pack for $45.99; a Blu-ray package for $39.99 and a standard DVD edition for $29.99. The magazine cited a note to clients from BTIG Research analyst Richard Greenfield, who observed, “The most interesting data point from the early promotion so far is that the most expensive combo pack is the best seller on Amazon. … Bodes well for Disney’s fiscal [first quarter].”
