TOY STORY 3 HEADS FOR INFINITY AT BOX OFFICE

Toy Story 3 crossed the $400-million mark over the weekend as it took in $2.2 million to climb to $400.8 million domestically. It thereby became the 11th movie to top $400 million and only the second animated film to do so, after Shrek 2, which piled up $436.7 million. Perhaps even more impressive, its overseas total passed $920 million, making it the top-grossing animated film worldwide in history. It’s also Disney’s fourth-highest-grossing film worldwide, behind two Pirates of the Caribbean movies and this year’s Alice in Wonderland.
