WARNER HOME VIDEO TO BEGIN RELEASING 3D MOVIES

Timed to coincide with the start of the holiday season, when sales of digital 3D television sets are expected to take off, Warner Bros. is releasing six 3D videos packaged with standard 2D DVD discs. The special packages, which will retail at an SRP of $44.95 each, will include Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore; Clash of the Titans; The Polar Express; IMAX Deep Sea 3D; IMAX Under the Sea 3D; and IMAX Space Station 3D. It had previously been announced that several of the films would be included individually with new 3D television sets from Sony and LG. The Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore package will also include a Looney Tunes 3D short, Coyote Falls, which was also attached to the theatrical release of the movie. The films are set to hit retail shelves on Nov. 11.
