YOUTUBE BEGINS LIVE VIDEO STREAMING

Taking another step toward the convergence of television and the Internet, Google’s YouTube on Monday began a two-day test of live video streaming. The video website is featuring live video streaming from Howcast, Rocketboom, Next New Networks and Young Hollywood. “We think of live as the next chapter in online video,” Joshua Siegel, a YouTube product manager, told USA Today.
