Ratings for Thursday’s Game 2 of the World Series between the San Francisco Giants and the Texas Rangers were again far behind last year’s Game 2 between the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies. The game averaged just 11.71 million viewers, versus 18.90 for Game 2 of the 2009 Series. The final half-hour of Thursday night’s game attracted just 10.65 million viewers. Still, that was a whole lot more than the 3.81 million who tuned in for NBC’s The Apprentice during the same time period. The ratings champ at 10:00 p.m. was CBS’s The Mentalist with 14.61 million viewers.
