IRON MAN 2 IS GOLD ON DVD

Demonstrating that it’s still possible to release smash hits in the home-video market, Paramount Home Entertainment’s Iron Man 2 sold about 1.1 million standard DVDs and Blu-ray discs on its first day of release last week, then went on to sell nearly 4 million more by the end of the week, Home Media magazine reported on Wednesday. In fact, the release sold eight times more discs than the No. 2 film, Universal’s Get Him to the Greek.
