Thursday night’s special live edition of NBC’s 30 Rock may not have provided much that could be considered special, TV writers observed today (Friday), but it did boost its audience by 43 percent from last week to 6.63 million. Nevertheless, it remained in third place in its time period, well below the 10.14 million viewers who tuned in to CBS’s $#*! My Dad Says (which also added viewers from last week without going live). CBS once again won every half hour of primetime Thursday night, highlighted by The Big Bang Theory with 12.47 million viewers, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation with 14.26 million viewers and The Mentalist with 15.02 million.
