As of this morning (Thursday), the charity auction site CharityBuzz.com, which brings celebrities and fans together for a price — the money goes to selected charities — was offering a “meet and greet” with Robert Pattinson and a visit to the set of Twilight: Breaking Dawn in Vancouver for $32,500 — with bids rising daily. While a two-night hotel stay is included in the package, a flight to Vancouver is not. The site offers numerous similar packages — with the money raised going to various charities — but none has topped the Twilight/Pattinson one. For example, the current bidding price for a visit to the set of the new Spider-Man movie on the Sony lot in Culver City, CA is $1,950 and for a meeting with the Dalai Lama in New Jersey, it’s $5,000.
