Leslie Nielsen, who played deadly serious roles in movies like The Poseidon Adventure and TV series like The Protectors and Bracken’s World until he began playing deadly serious roles in comedies like Airplane and The Naked Gun, has died from complications from pneumonia in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was 84.
