Despite airing a full night of reruns, CBS once again dominated primetime ratings Wednesday night, winning every half hour in total adults. It was edged out by ABC, however, among adults 18-49. CBS was helped in particular by its hit series Criminal Minds, which attracted nearly 9.3 million viewers at 9:00 p.m. and was the most-watched show of the night. But although 3 million fewer viewers tuned in to ABC’s Modern Family during the same hour, Family beat Minds among the 18-49 demographic. For the night, CBS led among total adults with 7.58 million viewers. NBC placed second with 5.25 million. ABC placed third with 5.06 million, while Fox trailed with 3.86 million.
