MORGAN’S RATINGS PLUMMET ON THIRD NIGHT

Piers Morgan’s interview with former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Wednesday, in which he focused on her personal life, took a nosedive in the ratings. Among the key demographic group of viewers 25-54, Morgan drew 239,000 — less than half the number he had drawn on Tuesday, when his guest was Howard Stern. His Fox competitor, Sean Hannity, was No. 1 in the hour with 565,000 viewers. Among total viewers, Morgan slid to third place with 1.03 million viewers, behind Hannity with 1.97 million and Rachel Maddow with 1.09 million.
