Daniel Radcliffe, who received mostly positive reviews this week for his starring role in the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, says that he is open to appearing in a movie version of the show. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Radcliffe said, “A lot of things would have to be right for it to happen. … In terms of the script, I think it’s very hard to adapt. But, you know, nor [sic] am I going to rule out the possibility.” Radcliffe indicated that producers may already be dickering with Hollywood, especially in light of the solid reviews the Broadway show generated. “The producers of the show would not be doing their jobs properly if they were not at this moment in time talking about the possibility of a ‘How to Succeed’ movie,” he said. In fact, a movie version of the show was released in 1967 with Robert Morse, who also starred in the original Broadway production, in the lead.
