CANNES FILM FESTIVAL SELECTS CLOSING FLICK

Christophe Honoré’s Les Bien-Aimés (The Beloved) has been selected to close the Cannes Film Festival this year. The musical drama, which takes place over a half century, from the 60s to the present, and was filmed in Paris, London, Prague, and Montreal, will be screened following the awards presentations hosted by jury president Robert De Niro. Honoré will be accompanied on the red carpet by his longtime musical collaborator Alex Beaupin as well as the film’s stars, who include Catherine Deneuve, Ludivine Sagnier, Chiara Mastroiani, Milos Forman, Louis Garrel, Michel Delpech and Paul Schneider.
