PRODUCERS WON’T PUT TWO AND A HALF MEN UP FOR EMMY NOD

In what probably amounts to little more than another move to put the Charlie Sheen mess behind it, CBS and Warner Bros. TV have decided not to submit Two and a Half Men for consideration for an Emmy in the best comedy series category, Dateline.com reported on Monday. Although it has consistently pulled the top ratings of any comedy series, it has only been nominated three times — the last time in 2008 — and has never won. Deadline said that the studio does intend to support nominations for Sheen’s co-stars in the acting categories.
