NBC executives may have been wishing that the network’s summer ratings might hold over through the regular season in the fall, as it led among 18-49-year-olds last week, thanks to the season finale of The Voice and potent numbers for America’s Got Talent. CBS continued its dominance among total adults — despite airing mostly reruns. CBS finished the week with a 3.6 rating and a 7 share, edging out NBC with a 3.5/6. ABC came in third with a 2.9/5, while Fox trailed with a 2.0/4.

The top ten shows of the week according to Nielsen Research:
