Charlie Sheen

CBS is scheduled to discuss its fall lineup with members of the Television Critics Assn. in Beverly Hills today (Wednesday), but it has no plans to reveal how it intends to dispose of Charlie Sheen’s character on Two and a Half Men and introduce his replacement, Ashton Kutcher, TV writers attending the annual press event said on Tuesday. At the same time CBS spokespersons have dismissed as “speculation” a report by saying that Two and a Half Men will open the season with a two-parter about the Sheen character’s death and his house in Malibu being put up for sale. According to the report, which mentioned no sources, among the prospective buyers will be Kutcher’s character.
