HARRY POTTER FINALLY BEATS TWILIGHT AMONG TEENS

August 8, 2011 by · 2 Comments

After years of finding the Twilight movies to be a pain in the neck at the annual Teen Choice awards, a Harry Potter movie has finally come out ahead in most of the voting. Actually, two of them — Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 was selected the best sci-fi movie, while Part 2 was chosen as the best summer movie. Daniel Radcliffe was chosen best summer male star and Emma Watson, best summer female star. The two also took the surfboard award for best “movie liplock” in Part 1. Twilight makers did not go home empty-handed, however. Taylor Lautner won the best sci-fi actor award. Robert Pattinson won for best vampire. (He also won the best actor award for his performance in Water for Elephants.) and Kellan Lutz and Ashley Green won the prize for scene-stealing.
