Everyone involved in the business that is Miley Cyrus were no doubt attempting to determine how it would be affected by photos of the onetime Hannah Montana star smoking cigarettes that appeared online Monday. The photos, reportedly taken in Orchard Lake, MI, and showing Cyrus wearing a bikini and playing with two puppies while smoking, were originally posted by RadarOnline.com (www.radaronline.com/photos/image/139054), which commented that she appeared to be fit “despite the very unhealthy cigarette habit she seems to be developing.” Today’s New York Post published several Twitter quotes from disappointed fans and recalled some of Cyrus’s own words that appeared in her 2009 autobiography Miles to Go: “I would never smoke. … I’d never do that to my voice, not to mention the rest of my body.”
