The MSG Network scored its highest ratings in history on Friday and Monday, all seemingly the courtesy of New York Knicks sensation Jeremy Lin. Friday’s telecast (Knicks vs. Hornets) drew 541,000 viewers, while Sunday’s chalked up 783,000. According to TVbythe Numbers.com, those figures were boosted in the final periods to 1.02 million and 937,000 respectively. In the New York area, where MSG had been blacked out due to a fee dispute until last week, only two broadcast TV shows drew bigger ratings, CBS’s Blue Bloods and ABC’s 20/20 documentary about Whitney Houston.
