DreamWorks Animation’s Puss in Boots dueled its way back to the top of the video sales chart last week, winning the lead for the second consecutive week. The home-video debut of Martin Scorsese’s Hugo had to settle for second place on the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert chart. Home Media magazine reported that it sold just 78 percent as many discs as Puss in Boots did. As usual, actual revenue was not disclosed. Hugo, however, was the most-rented movie of the week, the trade publication said, followed by Puss in Boots. Somewhat surprisingly The Bodyguard, which starred the late Whitney Houston, remained in the top ten for a second week, coming in at No. 5. Home Media said that the 1992 film has sold 390,000 copies since Houston’s death on Feb. 11.
