A GOOD DAY FOR MODERN FAMILY‘S SOFIA VERGARA

Colombia-born actress Sofia Vergara awoke today (Thursday) to find herself on two impressive lists. She was on the Emmy nominations list in the supporting comedy actress category for her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on Modern Family, and she topped Forbes magazine’s latest list of top-earning actresses on television. Forbes estimated that she earned $19 million during the past 12 months from the ABC TV series, roles in three movies, and also from a Kmart clothing line, endorsements (in English and Spanish) and her own Latin World Entertainment company. Coming in second on the Forbes list was last year’s top actress, Kim Kardashian, with $18 million. Eva Longoria placed second with $15 million, followed by Bethenny Frankel with $12 million, and Khloe Kardashian Odom with $11 million.
