Talk about putting the audience into the picture! Paramount Home Media on Wednesday launched a new promotion in connection with the September 10th release of the Blu-ray 2D and 3D versions of Titanic that will allow fans to upload via Facebook ( an image of themselves that will be inserted into one of the three iconic shots on the bow of the ship. They’ll replace the images of Leonardo DiCaprio or Kate Winslet. What’s more, the merged photos will then be displayed on a giant electronic billboard in New York’s Times Square sometime between September 8 and 10, together with the fan’s name and hometown. A camera positioned on Broadway, across the street from the billboard, will then snap still images of each photo and post it on the user’s Facebook page.
