What a difference a single TV hit can make. The return of NBC’s The Voice boosted NBC from last place to first place Monday night among viewers 18-49. As was the case a year ago, The Voice was beaten in total viewers by ABC’s Dancing with the Stars which attracted 14.1 million viewers to The Voice‘s 13.5 million. The return of NBC’s Revolution wound up in third place at 10:00 p.m. but with 7.25 million viewers, it was well above any other drama being aired on the struggling network. As a lead-in, Dancing lifted ABC’s Castle in the 10:00 p.m. hour to 10.7 million viewers, a result that beat CBS’s Hawaii Five-0 with 8.2 million.
