Seeming to lend some credence to the theory that many people will pirate movies that they wouldn’t pay good money to see, Sony’s expensive flop After Earth, starring Will and Jaden Smith was the most pirated film last week, according to, which tracks BitTorrent usage. The film, which brought in just 60.5 million domestically during its theatrical run, held the top spot for the second week in a row. The film is due to be released on DVD and Blu-ray next week. Bounty Killer, which had a brief, limited theatrical run earlier this month, came in at No. 2, followed by The Curse of Chucky, which also is due to be released on home video next week.
